Both candidate dates have now passed (today is 13 Oct 2026), so this fixes real enforcement dates, not forecasts. Only EUR-Lex settles it: an OJ amending act, or the consolidated text. The Commission's AI Act page, updated 3 Aug 2026, still links only Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.
